Program Information
We are excited to announce that Valley Park EarlyON Program (formally Heritage Green EarlyON) is now located in Valley Park Community Centre located in Upper Stoney Creek. Our new centre, which opened in May of 2022, is rooted in the local community and serves as an Early Years Hub where parents and families have access to a wide range of inclusive quality services and supports.
At our centre, parents and caregivers will experience a welcoming and safe place to participate in a variety of activities with their children. EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide opportunities for children from birth to 6 years of age to explore play in open-ended and inquiry-based activities with their parent/caregiver. Our organization believes that children are competent, capable of complex thinking, curious, and rich in potential. We believe in the capacity of parents to raise resilient, healthy, successful people, and we want to support them in their role. With the guidance of our qualified RECE professionals and through quality programs, families and caregivers will receive support in their roles, have access to community programs, information and services, and receive information and advice about healthy child development.
EarlyON Centres provide free programs to support children, parents, and caregivers in learning, growing, and connecting together. Our Centre is a part of the support system throughout the City of Hamilton that families need to do the most important work of parenting. We recognize that parents are the experts of their children and know them best. Inviting and encouraging parents to participate, share, network, and get involved in our EarlyON Program is an important element of the family-centred environment we aim to create. Tuesdays:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – EarlyON Room (0-6 years)
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Gymnasium (0-6 years)
Wednesdays:
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Registered Program- Infant Songs and Social (0-18 months)
12:30 PM – 3:30 PM – EarlyON Room (infants ONLY 0-18 months)
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Gymnasium (0-6 years)
Thursdays:
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM EarlyON Room (0-6 years)
Fridays:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EarlyON Room (0-6 years)
Saturdays:
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM EarlyON Room (0-6 years) Last Saturday of the month
COVID-19 Screening
Children, visitors, and staff attending EarlyON programs should follow the most current COVID-19 screening tool from the Ministry of Health located at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/. These screening questions are recommended to be completed prior to check-in.
KEyON is a private and secure system that enables you to pre-register for your visits to an EarlyON program and allows our EarlyON centre to plan ahead to offer the best services possible.

- Once you register, simply attend your local EarlyON centre to receive a key tag or QR code that will be used to quickly scan you in and out of any EarlyON centre you visit across Ontario.

The success of our EarlyON Program relies on the strength and innovation of its staff and ours are exceptional! All of our teaching staff are registered Early Childhood Educators who may also hold university degrees and/or additional diplomas. These energetic and knowledgeable educators have great experience and attend numerous professional development workshops and seminars throughout the year. They are dedicated and committed to providing your child with the best care and education while supporting each family in their role.
