EarlyON Programming – January 2022 Update

In light of increasing COVID numbers due to the Omicron variant, in consultation with Hamilton Public Health, the City of Hamilton has made the decision to temporarily close all indoor and outdoor EarlyON Child and Family Centre programs. We know that some families will be disappointed to hear this news, however, we are committed to doing everything possible to keep families and children safe. The City of Hamilton will continue to monitor the situation closely working in consultation with our local Public Health unit and will reopen in-person programs when it is safe to do so.

In the meantime, EarlyON virtual programming will continue.

Please see below the Heritage Green Virtual Calendar. Any programs you are interested in attending please use this link to register.

Quality Staff

The success of our EarlyON Program relies on the strength and innovation of its staff and ours are exceptional!  All of our teaching staff are registered Early Childhood Educators who may also hold university degrees and/or additional diplomas.  These energetic and knowledgeable educators have great experience and attend numerous professional development workshops and seminars throughout the year.  They are dedicated and committed to providing your child with the best care and education while supporting each family in their role.

Our organization believes that children are competent, capable of complex thinking, curious and rich in potential. We believe in the capacity of parents to raise resilient, healthy, successful people, and we want to support them in their role.

EarlyON is a part of the support system that families need to do the most important work of parenting.  We recognize that parents are the experts of their children and know them best.  Inviting and encouraging parents to participate, share, network and get involved in our EarlyON Program is an important element of the family-centred environment we aim to create.

Virtual programming

EarlyON Child and Family Centres are offering virtual and telephone services to support families/caregivers and young children. Virtual programming includes live events, through the platform ZOOM, such as story telling, singing and gathering times, as well as videos and activities that families can do at home with their children. If you have questions about your child’s development, have a specific family need or wish to speak with a Registered Early Childhood Educator, please contact us through email at:
