Toddler Room Schedule

  • Centre Opens

    -

  • Children play in Preschool Room

    -

  • Toddlers are in their room and participate in free flow snack, washroom routine, free play and preparation for outdoor play.

    -

  • Two groups of toddlers go outside, one group remains inside and the children are offered a variety of activities in all areas of the classroom, they are free to choose their activities.

    -

  • The children come in from outside play and the remaining group goes outside. The same activities are offered to these children.

    -

  • All children will be diapered or toileted at regular intervals throughout the day and as needed.

    -

  • Preparation for lunch, children wash their hands.

    -

  • Lunch is served.

    -

  • Nap time or quiet activities

    -

  • Washroom and Snack, prepare for outdoor play

  • Outdoor play

  • Free play

  • Children either go outside, or remain inside and are offered a variety of activities in all areas of the classroom; they are free to choose their activities.

  • Preparation for lunch, children wash their hands and use the washroom

Program Information

Ages and Fees

Heritage Green Child Care is proud to be registered with the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC). The following is the rate that parents/guardians will be charged based on the current reductions provided by the CWELCC system for any child 0-5 years of age.

 

The Market Rate is:

Toddler –$55 / day
Junior Preschool – $45 / day
Senior Preschool – $45 / day

 

As of December 31st, 2022 rates will be reduced to:

Toddler– $25.99
Junior Preschool– $21.26/day
Senior Preschool-$21.26/day

 

There is a $125 non-refundable fee that is due at time of registration. Out of the $125, $25 is a one-time registration fee. The remaining $100 will be applied to your first month of fees. The $125 is non-refundable once the parent/guardian has signed all the forms pertaining to their child’s enrolment and has established a start date. The CWELCC reduction will be applied to the $25 portion of the registration fee which brings the total to $11.81. Therefore, for children 5 and under, the non-refundable fee will be $111.81 as of December 31st, 2022.

Meals

Heritage Green Child Care Inc. uses Wholesome Kids Catering to serve child-friendly, healthy and nutritious hot lunches to the children each day. All menus are prepared in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and the Canada Food Guide as well as Health Canada guidelines and Ontario Dietitians and Public Health guidelines for Nutrition in Child Care settings when developing their menus. Wholesome Kids Catering is diligent in maintaining their status as a peanut/tree nut, pork free and shellfish free facility and works with families to manage a vast array of allergies for the safety and inclusion of the children in our program.

 

Two nutritious snacks are prepared daily on site and all baked goods are made by our baker without colouring or preservatives.
