Junior Preschool Room Schedule

  • Centre Opens

    -

  • Children participate in free flow snack, washroom routine, free play and preparation for outdoor play.

    -

  • One group of children go outside, one group remains inside and the children are offered a variety of activities in all areas of the classroom, they are free to choose their activities.

    -

  • The children come in from outside play and the remaining group goes outside. The same activities are offered to these children.

    -

  • All children will be diapered or toileted at regular intervals throughout the day and as needed.

    -

  • Preparation for lunch, children wash their hands and use the washroom

    -

  • Lunch is served.

    -

  • Nap time or quiet activities

    -

  • Washroom, snack, free play and prepare for outdoor play

  • Outdoor play

  • Join Senior Preschool group

  • Toddlers combine with preschool children, and all are offered a snack. Story time and free play.

Program Information

Ages and Fees

Heritage Green Child Care is proud to be registered with the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC). The following is the rate that parents/guardians will be charged based on the current reductions provided by the CWELCC system for any child 0-5 years of age. These rates will be applied as of December 31st, 2022.

 

The Market Rate is:
Infant – $65 / day
Toddler – $55 / day
Preschool – $45 / day

 

As of December 31st, 2022 rates will be reduced to:
Infant – $30.71
Toddler – $25.99
Preschool – $21.26/day

 

There is a $125 non-refundable fee that is due at time of registration. Out of the $125, $25 is a one-time registration fee.  The remaining $100 will be applied to your first month of fees. The $125 is non-refundable once the parent/guardian has signed all the forms pertaining to their child’s enrolment and has established a start date.  The CWELCC reduction will be applied to the $25 portion of the registration fee which brings the total to $11.81.  Therefore, for children 5 and under, the non-refundable fee will be $111.81 as of December 31st, 2022.

Meals

Our in-house cook provides a hot, nutritious lunch and 2 snacks, which follow the Canada Food Guide. We meet the needs of any dietary restrictions and/or allergies.

 

All food is prepared on-site and is peanut and tree nut free. All baked goods are made by our baker without colourings or preservatives.
